The project vehicle is a 1996 Thunderbird LX with Sport Option which includes the 4.6L V-8, handling components from the '95 Super Coupe, all wheel disc brakes and over-sized rotors. Car was purchased in 2004 with 116,884 miles (currently 126,755) and has been garaged summer and winter and NEVER driven in the rain. The motor is basically stock with the exception of the K&N air intake and Accel "Super Stock" plug wires. Alternator, air conditioning compressor and evaporator were replaced at 119,000 miles.
