The 1966 DeVille received a mild face lift that included a somewhat coarser mesh for the radiator grille insert, which was now divided by a thick, bright metal horizontal center bar housing rectangular parking lamps at its outer ends.
There was generally less chrome on all Cadillac models this year.
The Devil lineup was further differentiated from the rest of the Cadillac with the Tiffany-like script above the rear tip of the horizontal body rub moldings.
1966 was a year of firsts for Cadillac with heated seats, head rests, and AM/FM stereo systems.
Sales were very much up as the public continued to view Cadillac as a lead designer in luxurious automobiling.
