1978 MG MGB For Sale by Owner in Elmhurst, IL

 1978 MGB 4-speed overdrive roadster that drives straight and true with tight suspension and steering.  Solid body, floor and trunk with an older acrylic enamel red paint.  Engine rebuilt by prior owner. Excellent compression and oil pressure.  New Weber carburetor,  performance exhaust header and complete exhaust system including a new muffler. New solid state distributor, ignition wires, spark plugs and V-belt.  New engine and transmission mounts, Borg and Beck clutch,  throw out bearing, master and slave cylinder.  Overdrive transmission checked and installed with all new mounts and oil.  New transmission oil cooler.   Radiator was hot tanked and fitted with a new high CFM electric fan.   Entire fuel system replaced  including a New solid state OEM type fuel pump, gas tank, filter, sending unit and flexible gas lines.  Front shocks upgraded to tube shock absorbers for better all around performance and easy replacement.  Stainless steel braided brake lines, new rear brake cylinders, brake shoes and new tires.  Newer upholstery upgrade, nice door panels, under dash panels, carpeting and proper MG rubber floor mats. Fully carpeted trunk with a spare tire cover with all lift and accessory items in their proper storage containers... New  Vintage wood "Moto Lita" steering wheel.       New tinted windshield with new pillar seals and bottom windshield rubber molding...All electrical switches and lights work as they should.  Tonneau cover is in excellent condition with new heavy duty zippers sewn in.  This MGB also comes with a wind screen, secondary top cover shown in picture that is handy and rare.
