Mechanically, the drive train and electrical systems are sound as far as I know.  It has been well maintained per VW scheduled maintenance. All propane systems (stove, fridge, furnace) work as expected. Rear hatch struts and pop-up struts were replaced in 2014: no sagging. Coach battery was replaced in 2015 and van (start) battery in 2016: both are fine. Tires have fewer than 5000 wear miles. Extras include a German-made Paulchen bike rack, hydraulic jack (the Eurovan jack is pathetic, especially on soft ground, and the hydraulic jack is also useful for leveling), and Yakima round-bar racks mounted to the fiberglass roof using Yakima fittings and Marine epoxied in place. The racks include kayak stackers.  This setup plus a cargo basket took three expedition kayaks, three people, and all their gear on an extended remote kayaking expedition.
