1998 Lexus Ls 400 For Sale by Owner in Lees Summit, MO

Lexus introduced the LS400 in late 80's as a competition to the Mercedes-Benz and BMW. In 1998 it was the biggest car Lexus offered at that time. It features Toyota's 1UZ-FE 4.0L V8 engine putting out 290hp. Other features include power steering, power and heated seats, adjustable steering wheel, CD changer, and many other things. The following is a list of maintenance and repairs that have been done recently:- New paint (old clearcoat was peeling due to sun damage over the years)- Tie rod ends and right ball joint- Power steering fluid and brake fluid flush- New spark plugs and air filter- Oil change- New front brake pads and resurfaced rotors- New battery As you can see in the pictures, driver's seat bolster is worn out and has a tear. It can be repaired, however I did not have the time to get to it. Hood closes securely, but will need to be aligned. There are some lines or cracks in paint on the driver's side door. I was told by the paint shop this was due to the paint beneath having been cracked. There are many examples of these cars with 300,000 miles on the clock and still running strong.
