I purchased this Lowrider to pull my '71 speedboat.
This car runs as good as it sounds - - and looks good doin it! It's fun to drive but it's a 'turtle killer'. If you're just a beginner lowrider driver this car may not be for you. I'll be posting pics showing the low ride.
The car is clean and polished, the interior is fresh and good shape, and the wheels have been freshly cut and polished as well. The paint is shiny but my intentions were to repaint. One of the reasons I bought this car was that I could repaint it to match my boat without much effort prepping the body.
The drivetrain seems to be in very good condition. It has a 350 that allows the car to haul ass. One of the more recent owners was a local race car driver that used the car to pull his race car. He may have done some motor and trans work to it because it had absolutely no trouble pulling my boat over the local passes the few times I used it.
I've done very little to it mechanically. Besides little items I tweaked the Holly carb, had the odometer repaired and replaced the drivers side rear axle bearing and seal I found to be faulty when pulling the wheels for the polisher. I replaced both sets of rear brakes and wheel cylinders at that time.
This is a nice car and you can drive it home. I will entertain reasonable offers.
