This is a rust free 1958 Impala with matching numbers. The color is Rio Red, which was the correct paint for this year. The unique thing about the car is that it is an automatic with power steering, power brakes and a rare factory air that has been completely redone. Every nut, bolt, washer, and rubber was replaced. New stainless bolts were used. The chassis was assembled with all new bushings, shocks and rubbers, including body mounts. Brakes, including emergency cables were replaced. No used parts!!!! Stainless and chrome was either replaced or re-chromed. Complete stainless exhaust with polished tips was installed with all new brackets. Gas tank was replaced along with a new sending unit, and then was powder-coated. The engine was completely rebuilt according to factory specifications. Correct front inlet carbs were sent off and reconditioned with all correct vacuum slides that operate the front & rear carbs. Air cleaner is the correct one for tri-power with A/C. New radiator was installed. The cast iron power-glide transmission was rebuilt to factory specs. This motor has the correct dated intake, exhaust manifolds, water pump, heads, block, etc. New Cocker tires were installed with spinner hubcaps. Fender skirts installed. Exhaust Ports. Continental kit Dual antennas All New Upholstery and carpets, including door panels New windshield, rear window and all side and door glass and chrome replaced. Radio rebuilt to factory specs. New rear & front speakers A/C unit rebuilt to factory specs. Speedometer & gauges rebuilt to factory specs. All wiring was replaced. Rear center chunk was rebuilt & new axle bearings installed. New stainless brake linings New stainless 3/8 gas line was installed New Power steering cylinder along with rebuilt steering box
