1963 Ford Econoline For Sale by Owner in San Leandro, CA

I can't believe it's true but I am finally putting my beloved 1963 Ford Econoline van up for sale. I have owned this rare model since 1978. When I first took her under my wings, at age 15, she was completely bare. There was nothing in the interior, not even seats or an engine shroud cover. But, the previous owner had just recently dropped in a 289 V8 engine and I was ready for action! I took great pleasure in customizing her. I'll never forget all those endless trips to the auto salvage yards to pick n pull and start from scratch. 12 years later I replaced the 289 with a 1971 Ford Mustang 302 engine and installed a compatible C4 transmission and 9" rear end . She was the ultimate camping cruiser until a few years ago when the 302 began to fail me after encountering a blown head gasket. She's been sitting here at home looking for an engine upgrade ever since. Are you ready to take this cool, old-school van to the next level?! She recently celebrated her 50th birthday and is eager to find new love. She is not running so she'll need a tow-away.

This van has Clean Title and is currently registered as non-operational.
