Nationally, less than 20% of college freshmen make it through their first year. The FA is a program designed to help Freshmen persevere through this truly tough transition. We provide weekly love & support through the distribution of free food and services from community sponsors, while engaging our students in motivational discussions that encourage them to " STUDY HARD & STAY IN SCHOOL!"
WARRIORS ARK
Started as a reoccurring "Random act of Kindness" (or "RAK"), this program has now mushroomed into the daily distribution of Fresh Water, Surplus Restaurant Foods, Abandoned Laundromat/Cleaner Clothing and Hugs directly to Tempe's "Street Warriors" (homeless individuals.) Additionally, FWC staff make nightly pick-ups of contributions from compassionate local businesses.
