Seller Comments
This show car was hand built from a 1983 Jaguar.
“Voodoo Spider”---$150,000.
The “Voodoo Spider” is the renowned car builder, Elden Titus’s, premier hand-built super custom show car. This super custom is so impressive that George Barris put the "Voodoo Spider" on the Culver City California Car show poster, it has been the featured show car at The Super Nationals in Albuquerque, and was displayed at Darryl Starbird’s Rod & Custom Hall of Fame in Oklahoma. Plus, it won more than ten top show car competitions. Every inch of the Jaguar XJS body was transformed in the build. The new body work is hand formed metal and the interior is built to resemble an aircraft cockpit. The multiple hand crafted adornments include chrome plated art spiders, steering wheel, instrument housings, electric drop down license plate box, machined valve covers and much more. The electric hood opening reveals the 327 Chevy engine and turbo transmission. The Jaguar XJS disk brake differential is showcased with “Voodoo Spider” chrome art work. The paint was laid down by Ryan James and Elden Titus with Candy Apple Red over silver base. The edges are highlighted with black pearl to accent the extreme body lines. The complete story of this fabulous car can be reviewed at: www.titushandbuiltcustoms.com Please note the car is located in Kansas presently.
