This little Buick was factory under-coated therefore rust is pretty much non-existent! As one photograph shows, a few years back it was stripped down to bare metal, prepped then painted the original colors (inside and out). New upholstery, headliner, carpet, etc. was also installed. Everything works (all lights, switches, etc.). The car is completely stock, running the original 215 cui, 195 hp aluminum block V-8. The only modification is the transmission which was changed out with a newly re-built GM 700R4 4-speed automatic (work professionally done by Village Transmission & Auto Clinic, Edmonds, WA). Also: The old 4-Barrell Rochester Carb has been replaced with an Edelbrock 4-Barrell. Most recently, I had dual exhaust installed. Most everything under the hood has been rebuilt or replaced. The engine was rebuilt by S & S Engine in Spokane, WA approximately six-seven years ago but driven very little. I have receipts for work done (interior, transmission, brakes/drums, new tires, hoses, alternator, switches, drive-train, seals, etc., etc.) that total over $18,500 – not including the engine rebuild! The car runs and handles beautifully; it is garaged and covered. As shown, I also have the original window sticker, car invoice (from Turner Buick, Hayward, CA), Owner’s Guide, and Shop Manuals. I purchased this car from the second owner. Doing the research, one will discover these ’62 Skylark Hardtops (in decent condition!) are selling for an average of between $15,000-$28,000. I’m listing this beauty at $15,900 - price negotiable. No Trades; Cash only
