1980 Resto-Mod VIN 1Z878AS417393. This is a restored 1980 Corvette with too many new parts to list, but below are the highlights. The chassis has 78K miles on it, but the engine and transmission, as well as most of the new parts have 654 miles on them. Starting with the engine and drivetrain, it has a new 400ci sbc by BluePrint Engines (engine dyno 520 hp and 540 tq), long tube headers, serpentine accessory belt drive, new water pump, A/C compressor (converted to R134), new 140 amp alternator, new larger DeWitts radiator with dual Spal electric fans, new Tremec TKX 5spd manual with hydraulic clutch conversion, new bellhousing, Centerforce Dual friction clutch kit, seamless DOM Driveshaft assembly - Race Balanced, solid U-Joints, aluminum flywheel and 3.73 gears.
The suspension is aftermarket upper control Arms, bilstein shocks, new composite transverse spring, new Calipers with braided lines, cross-drilled slotted rotors, Coy wheels 17" front / 18" rear with 245/40R17 and 285/35R18 tires.
The body has a custom L88 style hood, GM Spiral Grey paint, the bumps are fiberglass (not polyurethane) and they are glassed-in so that there are no seams. The headlights have been converted to LED (way better performance at night). 3M protective film covers the nose, mirrors and rocker panels. The whole car has been ceramic coated.
The interior is all new as well. All new carpet, door panels, seats, all plastics are crinkle coated. The gauges have been upgraded as well. The speedometer reads to 165mph and the tachometer now shows a 6,500 redline. The instrument panel backlighting is now LED, as are the courtesy lights. The stereo and speakers have all been upgraded. The single din flip up screen has front and rear cameras, as well as Apple CarPlay.
There are too many ancillary parts to list...down to new astray for example. I have all the receipts..
