2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee For Sale by Owner in Indianapolis, IN

Purchased it a year ago appx from longest of the three owners. Its a damn good Jeep but unfortunately it was stolen Nov 27 2016 from Auto Zone towed right out no one paid any attention and why would they. Slick move by dumb thieves. It sat at Auto Zone almost a week with permission before taken. I sent mechanics over to figure out the problem. I had it towed because all of sudden it shut down like out of gas and would turn over but would not fire up? Crank Position sensor went out, google it. It took a few days to diagnose, i couldn't afford dealer mechanic. But without question that was it. The thieves that punched the ignition switch (needs replaced). And last week I left my briefcase with my keys, wallet, phone everything in a cab, not a good day. Yes I am owner with clean clear title. there are only two places you use the key on this jeep, The ignition and the drivers door, Its unlocked btw. I'm told both can be bought paired up for under $150? I was told that both can be bought from any good auto part salvage yard. The store camera showed the Jeep being towed out by unmarked roll on car hauler trailer. When recovered it had never been taken off trailer thieves never got it started  It was  recovered December 22nd, I had it towed to my home where its is now on someone elses empty lot that backs up to my house. They want it moved and I wont be using it and am not going to put any money into it!  It is in very good condition inside and out for its age. No wrecks or rust! needs these repairs ignition and door lock replaced, crank position sensor replaced, coolant fan wired back together, they cut the wires for some reason? sloppy! a Battery and its back on the road fairly minor repairs, nothing major She is tight, quite with a solid motor and transmission, I have the Sensor its a tricky one to install but if your handy like that here's a weekend project car that you'll either keep of flip and at least double your money.  Due to a minor incident lost my license till June. Im trying to move and get a fresh start if anyone can relate. Its a damn good jeep, come check it out it turns over bring a battery it came back with new battery gone and a sorry excuse that had some life but not now. Its a tow and go, You'll see it, hear the motor turns solid, a battery, a flat head, a way to tow home and cash its yours, can sell it to scrap yard locally for $800-900 so best offer. It is what it is, its a good solid strong 4.0 straight 6 that i'm told go forever. you be the judge clean, tight, and quite way they should be. Sensor you need comes with sale new in box, bought it just haven't bothered, i'm not a mechanic. Looking to sell fast if not gone in couple weeks i'll probably take scrap yard up on they're $900 offer that would really be a shame. Best offer
