The 1976 Triumph TR6 was the last model year for this very successful roadster. It is regarded by most to be the best of the TR series cars. During the 8-year model run (1968-1976) over 94,000 TR6s were built and exported around the world. Outstanding exterior, 100% rust free. The interior has been restored to original condition including a beautiful walnut veneer dash with full instrumentation and an AM/FM/CD radio. All TR6’ were powered by Triumphs 2.5-liter straight-6. US versions were delivered with dual Zenith Stromberg 175 carburetors. They were also equipped with a four-speed fully- synchronized manual gearbox. This TR6 is all stock and sits in a virtually spotless engine compartment. Traditional body-on-frame construction features rack-and-pinion steering and semi-trailing arm independent rear suspension. The factory wheels (w/trim rings) sport 15” Michelin red- line radials. New brakes are front disc and rear drum. This British icon is in need of a new owner and it will not take long for us to find one. It is superb. I am the second owner, purchased in 1986. Just over 50,000 original miles. I have ALL receipts for restoration, over $13,000.00. Included is well over $500.00 of new parts and the factory hard top, which I did not restore. I am only selling out of respect for the car; I’ve driven less than 250 miles annually for the last 8 years since I bought my Porsche. This car was built by Triumph durring the last month of production. It is a solid car, needs nothing. Please research before contacting me with your offer.
