I have a 1998 Toyota Avalon XLS that is beige I am selling. Car runs and drives great! But some minor issues that need to be resolved if you can do it (if you pay for the parts I'll fix it myself. Just don't want to invest more money in it). Car has all leather interior in all honesty, fairly rough condition steering wheel is also in bad condition. Door handles need replaced inside on the front two doors. Door handles need replaced on driver's side only. Door mechanism work fine just the handle. Car has a bad ignition ring, ECM, OBD2 port and instrument cluster. This is not as big a deal as it sounds very very cheap parts at junk yard and this car is compatible with most older Toyotas and Lexus ie Toyota Camry Lexus es 300 etc. Car also needs either injectors fuel rail or a fuel pump. Also very cheap parts at junk yard and easy work. Car has bad EGR valve and heat sensor 1 bank 1 is no good. Car thermostat is very unresponsive and slow because of this (it'll take like 20-30 minutes before it shows the car is warmed up but not a big deal. You can go without fixing these things or do because it's cheap. It's not necessary to replace.) Outside car needs a paint job bad. It has a bit of surface rust and will need some body work if you want it to look pretty, you can bang the dents out, sand rust off paint and wet sand clear coat, replace the front left head light with a new one. Etc. It's held on with tape currently Car has new spark plugs plug wires and coil packs. Oil change and oil filter. Power seats. Power windows (driver front passenger rear need replaced.) Car has new stereo but it needs looked at. Speakers are definitely no good. Car comes with 4 stock rims and a full size spare. This is not a pretty car. If you put work into it it would be a very nice very comfortable very reliable car with a lot of features some cars still don't have today. For a first car for your kid or something this would be a great little ride and safe and reliable. Car is nice and powerful accept under load because of fuel. Car also has a great transmission and doesn't miss a beat! I'm selling because I use it as a work car and started construction and need a work truck so for now I'll suffer and drive my nice car to work. In no rush to sell. Call with your best offer.
