The truck is in very, very good condition and would be worth $10000 or more due to no heavy towing and a new front end which I will describe below, however, it does need the high side turbo replaced, which is a $3437 repair, so I am selling it for $6,263.
Some things that make this truck special are that I am the original owner, it has mostly highway miles with some light towing but not much of that, it has a new front end and shocks (Bilstein I think), the newer model Ford radiator installed which won't go bad (they expect it to last 500,000 miles), and a new main alternator, and a few new sensors. I have the original owner's manual, and the key fobs/alarm are all factory. Plus I have the title to the truck. I bought the truck in Alaska in July 2009 when the rod bearings in my Toyota T100 went bad.. I got it from Soldotna Ford (Kenai Peninsula) because of the heavy discounts they had put on the remaining 40 -50 remaining 2008 F150's and F250's. I have driven it no harder than I did my Toyota T100 4wd, which is why there has been no heavy towing on it, so you are getting what I think is the best F250 with this mileage because it hasn't been stressed.
6.4 L diesel engine
XLT , 4wd, automatic, supercab, 8ft bed, wide oversized factory side mirrors that are extendable and are heated as well.
Tan cloth interior
8 way adjustable power seats. It's a bench seat but both passenger and driver seats are fully adjustable.
Air Conditioning and heat
Power locks and windows with door key pad so you can punch in a security code to open the door if you want to or need to.
Keyless entry with 2 remotes from Ford
Automatic 5 speed transmission - very reliable. 3.73 rear axle ratio
Cruise control, several push button commands on steering wheel . I hardly used them but they are there. I think it's the cruise control and radio controls.
Factory Alloy wheels which are very good looking.
Rear tires in almost new condition. Front tires still have some use left to them.
SOLID FRONT AXLE - factory
35 Gallon fuel tank
Dual batteries standard on this truck - factory.
Ford diamondplate mudflaps
Truck is 100% stock
Has a 1 7/8 inch ball hitch for light towing. You can put a bigger one on if needed.
One of the Pia Foglights is missing. So I did not count the foglights into the value of the truck, so it's like you're getting one for free. Those were an add-on that I put on the vehicle. Aside from that the truck is totally stock.
The miles are mostly highway miles plus I used it as a daily driver for errands because it's the only vehicle I had. It has a BRAND NEW FRONT END WITH PARTS 2 TIERS HIGHER THAN FACTORY PARTS. You can ask me about this. I had the mechanic use the very best parts available. Cherry City Transmission Salem, Oregon performed the work and did an excellent job. The owner installed the new front end for me.
This is an excellent truck. I just don't need an 8ft bed and have replaced it with a compact suv for getting around. This has been a great truck, very comfortable and very spacious. I never did do shift on the fly 4wd although you can. I always came to a stop. This is to take stress off the transfer case so it will last. There are push buttons for 4wd on the dash and you can also manually lock the hubs.
Ford has done all the work on it except for when I had Cherry Transmission replace the front end parts (tie rods, ball joints, etc). I have always done the oil changes on time using Ford Motocraft oil, fuel and oil filters, and the Ford diesel additive. I have babied this truck so it will last.
