Mike was a GM employee, and treasuredthe car for 28 years. He bought it when the AC Spark Plug division executive whospecial-ordered it turned it in with only 3,700 miles on it. Mike moved to aretirement golf community in Sun City, Arizona in 1999, and stopped driving thecar in 2007 when he got a golf cart — which you can drive on the streetsthere. The car sat covered in his garage until I purchased it when he went to acare facility in May 2016. I brought it to San Diego, registered it inCalifornia, and got it back on the road. The gas tank was replaced along with anew Delco fuel pump. The fuel and brake systems where completely flushed, andthe engine was pre-lubricated before starting. New BFG 245/50/16, G-Force CompT/A tires, battery, and a new catalytic converter was installed. The car runs,drives and handles excellent. No modifications.
