Putting up for sale is a “rare” 1979 Jeep Cherokee Wide Track “Golden Eagle” edition project car. I have been restoring this Jeep since 2003, work here and there and got it to where she needs to be for a car show but, she still needs some TLC as far as the Paint and Interior go. Body is is RUST FREE condition, only one ding in driver door but body is great shape.
This is a ONE of a kind Cherokee in this condition and the picture can speak for themselves but, I have included what she comes with-
Jeep was rebuilt for show purposes only, originally had 107,866 on original odometer, and has only 405 miles on new rebuilt 5.9 liter V8 with some tweaks here and there bringing her to over 400 HP.
•Edlebrock Intake performance series, sounds great
•Edlebrock 4 barrel 9000 series carb (from bjs Full Size Jeep) with air spacer
•Edlebrock value covers and engine dress up kit, stainless steel bolts.
•Engine was rebuilt on 10/10/2012 along with transmission (Turbo 400) and transfer case has been rebuilt, all new houses and lines. Select Trac 4 wheel drive system. NEW engine has only 400 miles on it so she still needs to be broke in!!!!
•New start, water pump, steering pump, fuel pump, everything on engine is new so it looks like it was out of the showroom floor (see pics)
•New 4” lift, springs, shocks with 33 inch wild County tires (only 400 miles on tires)
•All 4 new brakes, metal off road heavy duty brake lines, brakes excellent.
•Custom new exhaust system 4", muffler and sounds awesome!!
•ARB front and rear covers
•Frame has been sand blasted and treated with rust inhibiter and sprayed with a anti rust foundation along with Linex of Under fender wells (pics are unbelievable)
•Front end has been linex (NOTE FRONT BRUCH GUARD NOT SOLD WITH JEEP)
•Under hood has been sandblasted and painted for mirror shine.
•Front dash and cluster is perfect, new Speed gauges and RPM gauge installed. Looks awesome
•New Speedometer when engine was put in to keep track of new engine miles. Again this jeep has only been Driven 400 miles.
•Have new rear chrome bumper, special paint behind bumper to prevent rust. This is an OEM bumper which is RARE.
•Have new front grille OEM product never opened, have not put on since car needs painted.
•Have new OEM Cherokee emblems, chrome emblem on trunk to put back on and replace existing.
•I have the entire interior ready to be put back in or re done your choice.
• have the original new Golden Eagle decals (whole car) to be put back on once the Jeep has been repainted.
•New CD Pioneer Radio needs to be hooked up, have speakers put took out do to paint.
List will go on and on I have put a lot into keep, reason I am selling is that I am moving on and have no more time to put into car and she needs a new home for someone that will keep her garaged kept like I have and keep in mind, this jeep was NEVER DRIVEN in SNOW, MUD or RAIN…..
