This beautiful XJ6 series 3 has undergone a partial mechanical and complete cosmetic restoration. The cylinder head was replaced as the old head had some valve issues. We decided that replacing with a rebuilt head was best. All engine rubber was replaced; hoses, belts, gaskets, water pump. The radiator was re-cored and refurbished as well. The engine compartment was detailed as much as possible without removing the engine. The transmission was also replaced with a rebuilt unit. It now drives perfectly. Very smooth and sure footed. The car was repainted in its original color (tan) without being disassembled. The undercarriage was completely refurbished. The suspension sub assemblies front and rear were completely disassembled, blasted, painted, new parts installed including all new brake components and bushings, and then reassembled. A new exhaust system was also installed. The interior is beautiful original. The only item we restored was the center console wood. It was sent to Madera Concepts in Goleta, CA. The car drives beautifully and is in show driver condition.
