Seller Comments
You can look all over the US and you will not find another 77 Monte Carlo as nice as this one. I am selling this for my parents who unfortunately, are too old to drive anymore. Everything on this vehicle is stock, minus the tires and wheels of course. This car was Mom and Dads pride and joy and my Dad kept this car in top shape. It has NEVER spent one night outside in 37 years. This car was only used for special occasions and vacations. Almost all of the miles on this car are highway miles. You can look at the photos and tell that this car was babied. I really do hate to sell it but I have no room for another car at home. Whoever, buys this will be getting a once in a lifetime deal. And please, check around, you will see that nothing compares to this. The 77 Monte Carlo was the final year that GM used this body style. In 1978 the Monte Carlo was shortened in size and power. The 350 four barrel engine runs like a champ. Dad changed the oil in it faithfully every 1,800 miles. The engine runs like it is new. The 57,000 original miles is the reason the engine is in the shape it is. The interior is perfect and has ZERO flaws anywhere. My parents bought this car in 1978 from a private seller who had used it to travel between Portland and SF. When they bought it in March of 1978 it had exactly 7,300 miles on it and looked brand new. Mom and Dad took it to an upholster who installed the plastic seat covers. That is why the interior still looks new because it virtually is. Our family NEVER had one problem with this car. The 350 engine is arguably the finest engine GM has ever produced. Go to any local area drag-strip and you will find them there. I truly want this car to go to someone who appreciates and loves it as my whole family did. Just because you have $16,000 dollars to buy it does not mean I am going to sell it to you. I don't want this car chopped or lowered for any reason. This car was in 2 auto shows, in the 90's, and won both times for "Best in Show". All you have to do is watch peoples heads when they see this classic rolling down the street to be convinced of its worthiness. I am a truck driver, which means I can't answer the phone when I am driving, so the best way to get in touch with me is by email at jete002@msn.com or by text message at 360-672-5867. I will return all messages. Oh, and it has the original in-dash AM 8 track player. Like I said previously, everything except the wheels and tires are stock.
