I have pretty much restored everything except was working on a tad of body work and new paint job eventually which it looks good just as is, rag top, just had tires and rims put on from Big Chief Tires for 3,800 and tax out the door just put on 4/2022 brand new. I had decided to keep my jeep had no problems, liked the fact no car payments, got is all cleaned up, a nice flag on for the 9/11 big jeep ride convoy for our fallen heros of Sept 11, and it stalled out on me on my way no warning no nothing, let me re-phrase it didn't shut off, it just went from 60 miles and hour down to 40 so of course i pulled over off interstate, clutch felt great as I had it repaired less then a year ago, shifter felt good, had a slave cyl, mast cyl installed, front and rear drive shaft replaced all under carriage things done, being a woman I can't explain all that I have put in my jeep and done to it so I will let the invoices and receipts do the talking for me, i have them all on work done this past year, I wanted to get it in tip top shape have had it going on 7 years now and had just cancelled my ins on my camaro turned in my tag and was going to have someone take over payments I was that sure of my jeep, now I had reinstate ins and put tag back on camaro and have no other choice to sell my jeep after all the money I have put in it and love it! But I don't know whats wrong with it and I am injured from a hip replacement and dislocation, and will need a knee replacement and foot surgery so it was a matter of time to have to sell and get me a automatic later on down the road, so I don't have to sell my jeep but someone that knows about jeeps and possible transmission issues this would be a good buy because I did lower the price and had been offered 10,500 2 years ago from a young military woman, she wanted it she actually was a certified mech in the military on jets, but I just couldn't part with it then and I really don't wont to part with it, but since I don't really knwo what is wrong its best to let it go, I did have two friends come out at different times both said pretty much the same thing about maybe a cluster in the transmisson, the engine sounds good, no rattling, grinding in shifter, clutch feels good, it just want move in 1-3 gear, when u put in 4th it trys to go, one guy shocked me when he said it may be because your tires are to big for you small engine, WOW!! didn't expect to here that , anyway sorry for the long post here but felt it was needed to explain what is going on or what might not be going on, was told it might not even be transmission but I hate see it sitting in my yard with awesome brand new tires and rims and its just a sharp looking jeep I was just getting started, rag top put on last year, does need a back ragtop window priced at under 80 bucks on amazon but not needed right away looks fine. I figured someone that likes to tinker around and build things, modify things, will see and know right off the bat what is wrong with the jeep and for the price if it is a transmission u still will get a nice jeep for under 8,000 NEVER any ENGINE work done, always kept oil changed, tunes ups, which it may need one now, I put seafoam in it before the ride and it still purred like a kitten, this jeep has never been rock climbing, in mud a few times never in deep water, never driven rough since I have had it, been to Co and back, then to the Blueridge and back and went all back roads never driven over 60 mph, i love the back roads to much and avoided the expressway as much as possbible. Please only serious inquires and do not ask me to lower price, I would consider selling the tires and rims for 2,250 if someone is interested and has some take off tires to put on with rims to put back on my jeep and then i can let jeep sit on property til someone comes along that wants to buy it, Thank you, I am new at this don't know how to upload pics but u can see my ad on facebook market Jax Fl and on Craigs list I will try to upload pics once i can figure it out, or you can send me a email and I am sure I can figure out how to send most current pics also. Thank you,
