Seller Comments

Details about this vehicle:
Year built 1971 (Only 21,801 of these vehicles were made for that model year)
Engine Type V8 350 cubic inch small block
0-60 MPH in approximately 6 second
Classic Sports car (Coupe Design)
Auto transmission
MPG is between 9 and 14
Odometer reading: (See picture)
Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)
Has Clean title (no previous wrecks)
Has Removable rear Glass and T Top option
This model Stingray qualifies for the C3 "Title" and is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only from 1969 - 1976 model years.
Vehicle was purchased in 2001. At the time of purchase the vehicle had only 5000 (miles on a rebuilt engine). Since that time I have owned the vehicle for 22 years and have only put an additional 2300+ miles on the vehicle (see odometer reading picture) Mostly this vehicle has been garage kept and I have only taken it out on drives to keep everything running smoothly with the engine.
Car runs and drives great. I personally take this vehicle out at least once a week to keep everything fine tuned!

Repair work/updates done to the vehicle:
1. New crossmember for the transmission.
2. New rear suspension spring
3. Removed and replaced upper and lower ball joints and bushings
4. Removed and replaced Idler arm
5. Removed and replaced master cylinder and brake booster
6. Replaced 2 wheel bearings
7. Bled brakes and adjusted
8. Worked on carburetor
9. 4 New rims and tires (see photo)
10. New car stereo (see photo) will need new speakers and wiring

Repairs that buyer will need to address: (Please note these are the repairs that I myself am aware of and would like to disclose, please be sure to have your own mechanic inspect the vehicle thoroughly to ensure no additional repairs are needed/required as this is a classic car and typically classic cars that are not fully restored will require some degree of repair. As previously indicated in the Details about this vehicle, the car runs and drives great in its present state.)

Repairs that are needed (per my understanding)
1. Has a minor fuel leak.
2. Needs battery hold down bracket
3. Needs new oil pressure Gauge and line
4. Has a possible Vacuum leak in the lines to the headlight cams
5. Needs new shifter cable
7. Needs new jets in the carburetor

Requirements of purchase:
Both buyer and seller will need to sign a 1 page sales contract. This is to protect both the buyer and seller for the sale of this vehicle.
Both the buyer and seller will meet at a local AAA office to complete the transfer of title
This will be a cash only transaction. We can discuss the terms such as meeting at your local bank to complete the purchase transaction and sign the appropriate sales contract.

Photos have been provided
I have taken a bunch of photos of the interior/exterior, with T Tops and Rear window in, with T Tops and rear window out and with hood up and hood down (including engine and tire photos).

IMPORTANT information:
Even though I have made updates to the vehicle, I have kept all the original parts that were replaced just in case the new owner of this vehicle would like to have it originally restored. I also have all the original paperwork that came with the vehicle as well.

I have my mechanics contact information and would be willing to provide that to the potential buyer if you would like to speak with them directly, but I will only provide this information to a serious buyer and will require a non refundable deposit for this request as my mechanic is extremely busy working on classic vehicles.

As you can see, this is a classic sports car, I have provided plenty of pictures and information on the vehicle and I would only like to deal with Serious Buyers Only! If you are into classic sports cars, then this is the car for you.

This is an AS IS sale. I am Asking $21,500.00 or best offer. (No lowball offers will be accepted) When emailing me please be sure to provide your name, telephone # and a good time to reach you.
