01 Ford Explorer Sport. Excellent running 4x4 SUV. 230,500 on odometer but engine was replaced and has 155,000 on it. Transmission was replaced with a remanufactured 100,000 warranty transmission from All Trans and only has 56,500 miles on it. The good: Tires replaced with Michelin LTX 70,000 mile 255/70/16 tires that have only 25,000 miles on them. These are premium truck tires and cost around $250 each. Still tons of tread and no uneven wear. Full size spare tire and OEM jack included. New battery. Vented brake discs. New thermostat and housing. New hood lift supports. New idle air control valve. New Mass air flow sensor. New cruise control switch on steering wheel. Upper control arm ball joints and lower ball joints replaced at 211,000 miles and alignment done. 4.0L V6 starts and runs great. Lots of power. 4 wheel drive works as it should. 4 Hi and 4 Low plus overdrive. Gets around great in the snow. Has the 16” Ford OEM upgrade aluminum wheels. Cruise control works as should. Heater and defroster work great. No tears or holes in seats. Includes OEM cargo shade. Has trailer light wiring with 4 prong flat plug. Power drivers seat Power windows A new $200 class 3 hitch is included but not installed. The bad: ABS and Check engine lights are on but it’s not throwing any codes. Ford says it’s typical for these lights to be on with this mileage. Windshield is cracked but passed inspection last year. A/C does not work. It may just need recharged. Remote passenger door lock doesn’t work. Rear windshield wiper does not work. Some rust has started around rear fender wells and there are some dings and dents.
