2017 Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo Race Car Autosport Groups - Delray Beach, FL

This 2017 Ferrari 488 Challenge was fitted with the Evo upgrade package under current ownership and campaigned in the Ferrari Challenge North America series in addition to being used in various club racing events. The car is finished in metallic gray and is powered by a replacement twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 mated to a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch transaxle with an electronic limited-slip differential. The race-prepped interior features a roll cage, a Formula-style steering wheel, and Sabelt fixed-back carbon-fiber race seats with red multi-point harnesses. Further equipment includes 19 Motegi Racing center-lock wheels, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, adjustable aerodynamic bodywork, a lightweight exhaust system, a fire-suppression system, air conditioning, and a rearview camera. The 488 Challenge was introduced in 2017 as the sixth model to compete in Ferrari¿s single-make racing series. The revised Challenge Evo specification debuted in 2019 and was also made available as an upgrade package for earlier 488 Challenge cars. Updates included revised aerodynamics that allows the ability to adjust the front aero load independently of the rear load to help optimize balance.
