1957 Chevrolet bel air For Sale by Owner in Boise, ID

This car was built in Canada. U.S. Production figures of the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hard tops were over 168,000. The 210 model built in the US was a little over 23000. Canadian figures I could not find. This is a rare car in my opinion.This car was restored a while back.The car is powered by a Small block V8. I believe it to be a 283, backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. Very quiet tight with ample power.
The cars body is very straight in my opinion. I see no rust and the panels line up very well. The interior is very nice. It has the correct 1957 seat fabric. good carpet, headliner and door panels. Rear package deck is nice.Al the lights work. Dash lights work too. Turn signals, headlights, high beams, tail lights and brake lights all fine. Horn works. Has an aftermarket am fm 8 track radio too that works.The tires are in great shape. Correct hubcaps. Color keyed wheels. The exhaust is dual with quiet mufflers. The brakes were recently redone also with new lines shoes and proportion valve for safety.The 3 speed transmission shifts well but has hung up on me once or twice. This may need attention in the future.This car runs and drives very well.
