For sale is 1998 Dodge Dakota Club Cab SLT pick up 4x4 V8 5.2L Magnum engine.
This is a great work truck and will get you wherever you are going. It’s not new, so please do not expect to be in perfect shape. I purchased it several years ago from the first owner who brought it with him when he moved from Canada, so truck has odometer in kilometers. It still has speed in MPH just mileage is captured in KM. Currently, truck has approximately 171,100 miles (275,327 km).
There is a damage to the passenger side due to the hit and run and Home Depot. Some careless driver hit my truck and just took off. I did not claim the damages with insurance, so truck still has a clean title. Paint is fair with some blemishes due to Nevada sun and the fact truck is 22 years old.
Interior is in excellent condition with no rips or anything broken. It is a SLT model, so it comes with all power (windows, door looks, mirrors, driver seat). Truck has the towing package with both connections (they work – tested recently) so you can tow anything.
In a last year, I replaced front brakes (high performance cross drilled and slotted rotors and high performance pads), rear brake shoes and drums, front wheel bearings, power steering hoses, both radiator and all cooling hoses, spark plugs, distributor cap and arm, spark plug cables, coolant, power steering fluid, transmission and differential fluids, rear shocks and so on. This was my daily driver from Lake Tahoe to Carson City and back, so I did not want to get stranded especially not in a bad weather. Engine oil was replaced a few weeks ago.
Overall, this is a great work truck with even better V8 Magnum engine. It will take you wherever you need to go safely. Also, good and safe first-time vehicle.
I decided to purchase a commuter vehicle, so my truck is for sale. I received voucher from Lithia Subaru in Reno for $3,000 if I trade it in and get the new vehicle from them.
