1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7 For Sale by Owner in Fremont, OH

I have a 1967 Cougar xr-7 with the 6.5 litre option.
It is a California car, brought here in 1998,and stored inside.
It has a previously fresh rebuilt correct date code 390 4bbl engine,a brand new heavy duty aluminum radiator and is a very strong runner..!! It will need some mechanical work to make it a driver, mostly a driveshaft, and brake work=4 piston calipers need rebuilt. The body is mostly straight with a few minor dents and is 99% rust free. There was a couple very small holes in floor pan that have been patched. car is partially disassembled, mostly head light /grill assemblies on front of car have been removed,fender and hood have been re installed and are on the car.There are some extra parts/headlight/tail light assemblies/misc parts included also.This car is very solid, and mostly unrestored with original paint on most of the body,trunk lid and hood have been changed,but are very straight.A few  minor exterior trim pieces may be missing.
Car does need  a full restoration,and paint and interior {leather seats} It is a very scarce car, according to our  deluxe Marti report, being one of 524 made with all of its options and color.There were only 1493 red cougars total built that year, not many with the 390 / xr7 combo..!!
