06 Black 5-Speed Solstice, 102K miles Runs good, looks good. The car runs fine and it looks good, it was from Florida and I was planning on it staying at my Florida condo but a divorce changed that plan. The Florida sun beats the hell out of a clearcoat. The rear deck lid was faded but I was able to swap it. The rear bumper on the top edge has it, the very top of the doors had it in the clear coat but some rubbing compound made a difference. The car will have a branded title, the top was left down and it rained, so technically it will always be labeled flood/water. We have purchased approximately 230 flood/water cars since 1997. We do not purchase and never have purchased a vehicle that was submerged in water or had standing water. We only bid on the vehicles that were, top down and rain, windows down and rain, windows open and sprinkler went off. The last one I purchased was a 2020 Nissan Altima AWD with 4000 miles. The passenger spilled her water and the water went into the console and blew the fuse to the lighter and the light in the shifter select. Since Water caused electrical damage to the car, it was then Branded.
Obviously sunroof open and rain is nothing at all like driving into the ocean and taking a car for a swim but they are both still branded flood/water. This car as the video's show looks good and runs good. It could use some TLC on the body cosmetically but over all its a great little Sport's Car.
