Hey there! This truck is TOUGH! Good model year, 5.4L v8 twd gas. Engine replaced at 40k, and has 325 on it now approx. Trans rebuilt approx 200k miles. Lots of newer parts. Coils, alternator, calipers, ball joints, muffler.. all within the last 5 years approx. A Lot of good stuff. I've had a lot of work done to this truck. 10k worth or more approx over 10 years ive had it. Its been taken through its paces, but its been taken care of. Oil changes etc. Engine rebuild has lasted until now. Must have been a really well built engine, and is still going strong. Trans needs work. Not sure whats wrong, as i havent taken it in. Selenoid b is going off. I wouldn't think it needs to be rebuilt, but could. May just need to be flushed, and filter replaced etc. Is shifting weird, but I've been driving it for a while like that, and it's still going. A bad Trans would probably have crapped out by now, so. Could just be a $300 fix. Needs windshield, passenger mirror, radio, springs, and possibly shock absorbers. The body is rusty, and frame. Not eaten through rusted. Can probably get another good 50-100 miles out of it if frame was rustoliumed. It is dirty, but I did clean the engine bay (not the block) a while ago. Detailed it. There is a lot of good with this truck, and I've put a hell of a lot of money Into it, so I'm not selling at a regular low balled price. It was used commercially for tree work, and landscaping. Beds banged up, but comes with a tennau cover that works, and can be closed. Holds heavy loads... real heavy.. 2 yards of rock. It is getting rusty. Don't think unless you replace the bed at some point you'd get more than 2-3, 4 years of use out of it. This truck as is, is strictly needing work done, but after, it could fetch you a couple years more of making that money! With the low price, you will definitely get your monies worth out of it, because it is a beast work wise, and I'd have no qualms about hauling if the springs were fixed, and selenoid issue. None at all, and have driven it still in its current condition to the store, and around. It's just needing some TLC, and loving at this point.
