Seller Comments
2003 Suburban 2500 LT 4x4 8.1L in excellent condition. Actual color is pewter. It's the LT package and it's loaded with every option available. Has the 8.1L (496ci) engine which GM discontinued just a few years after this one was manufactured. Hence, the higher price. These engines are not that common. Please don't try to compare the smaller engines with this one--it's apples vs oranges. This vehicle is great for towing and family vacations; the power train is so strong you won't even know there's something behind you. Here's a link to an article on the 8.1L engine: https://www.vehiclehistory.com/articles/chevy-8-1-engine-reliability-and-brute-force
Never flooded, never been in an accident. Clean blue title. It's in great shape inside and out (paint/body/interior/seats). 137K+ miles, 4x4, sunroof, aftermarket aluminum wheels, new tires, relatively new mufflers (dual exhaust) cold air intake w/ K&N filter, XM radio, Onstar, leather, premium power seats, capacity - 7 people much more...see original spec sheet in photos. Also, it has an adjustable brake booster for pulling trailers as well as a transmission cooler. Recent service: Engine oil & filter (Mobil1 Full Synthetic over life of vehicle), transmission oil, differential oil change (both), coolant, new oil pressure sensor and new battery (those are just the ones that come to mind). It's been meticulously maintained over the years; it’s been in our family since it was new, so I can verify this. I really don’t want to let it go but it’s more vehicle than we need. If you're just looking for a regular Suburban from this era, this isn't the vehicle for you. Save yourself some money and go buy the lighter duty version (1500) with the smaller engine. If you need to pull something heavy (such as a large RV) or go off road and carry up to 7 people, this is the answer. The engine sounds as good as it drives; it has a very nice rumble to it, but it's not overly loud. VIN number is in the photos. Trailer ball not included.
