1965 Ford Mustang For Sale by Owner in Williamsburg, VA

This Mustang is original. When I bought it approximately 10 Years ago. The work I have had done on it is replace the complete steering linkage to correct play in the steering. I replaced all the rubber seals around all windows. I have taken it to many car shows, but I do not enter them, just for something to do. It has no rust and uses little oil between changes. It use to smoke like a train in the mornings, so I replace the valve stem seals, problem solved. I just replace the transmission fluid and pan gasket, also change the differential oil. The stereo was install by me in the glove compartment to prevent theft. This may be minor, but I have a Sirius radio mounted on the dash with suction cup and the power is from the cigar lighter socket. It has wires running to the stereo. When I leave my car I close the glove box and lock the door. Looking inside it looks stock. I put replacement exhaust manifolds on it and a complete exhaust system with a Turbo Muffler and 2" tail pipe. It has a 3 speed automatic transmission. The interior is black carpet with leather bucket seats in excellent condition with a vinyl headliner. Cons: the original radio wasn't working when I bought it and I left it alone and install the stereo. The dash pad is sagging a bit and needs replacement if one desires. Everything else is original. It is a little hard to start over night, but after starting it runs fine and when stopped it starts easy. It is insured with Hagerty Classic Insurance. They wanted me to drive it and not just let it set and dry rot the seals etc, however; I have to keep it in the garage over night. I am asking $14,000 OBO.
