2012 Doesn't need to be Doomsday
We all know about the rumors going around-this is the year the worlds going to cease to exist. According to scholarly experts across the globe, the earth as we know it will no longer exist and the world’s population will instantly disappear. If you choose to believe this, that’s your right. You could choose to believe your life will end in less than one year or you could celebrate the insanity of it all with a new car. Even if you are buying into this popular belief, why not treat yourself to a new car? What have you got to lose? Even if you can’t afford the car payment, that’s okay because according to experts you won’t be here to make the rest of those payments anyway. Okay, all kidding aside-you don’t need to fall into the “Doomsday” trap, so why not treat yourself to a car this year?
The first thing you’ll need to do is decide whether you want a new car or a used car. New cars have their perks. Let’s begin with that new car smell. You can’t ignore that fabulous smell that can only be experienced with a new car. The new car smell is so popular that manufacturers make car deodorizers that have that same scent. Moving on, there’s that undeniable feeling of success knowing you’re the first person to drive the vehicle off the lot and that you’ll be the one to add the mileage to your new car. Okay so you want a new car but unless you have the cash to pay for the vehicle upfront, you’ll be locked into a hefty car payment. Ask yourself- “Do I want to make large car payments”? If you decide the car payments don’t matter-you may be facing a doomsday of your own. If you’re comfortable making the car payments then hats off to you and Happy New Year!
You can always opt to purchase on older vehicle. So it won’t have that new car smell and it may have had one or more previous owners-but at least you won’t have heft car payments. Even if you decide to purchase an older vehicle, unless you have the cash you could still be locked into a car payment. One thing is certain-your car payment won’t be as much for an older vehicle as it would be for a new one. If you like the new car smell, you can always purchase the "new car" scent in a car deodorizer.
Don’t let Doomsday get you down- make the most of 2012 and get out there and buy a car!
