Five of the Best Sports Cars of 2017

Of the 2017 Sports Cars, certain cars are deserving of a better rating than others despite being in entirely different price categories. A $25,000 sports car might not seem to even be in the same ballpark as a $60,000 vehicle, however certain brands always carry a high price tag and are simply just fancier, bigger and stronger. However, sports cars with a low-price tag can be just as brilliant, smaller sports cars can be fun to drive and more suitable to an individual’s personal preferences while also providing better value and unique qualities. The list below is of five sports cars of 2017 that are all different in their own way and not all on the high end or low end of the price scale but rather a handful of the better sports vehicles across the spectrum.

Nissan GT-R

The Nissan GT-R is hardly as popular as a Porsche and other classic sports cars but this year’s model is stacked with design specs that are impressive. Standard features include six speed auto-shift manual transmission with overdrive, a 3.8 liter V-6 565 horsepower twin turbo engine, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, a sophisticated navigation system, curtain first row overhead airbag, side seat mounted airbags, an airbag occupancy sensor, twenty-inch aluminum forged wheels, automatic air conditioning, cruise control, drivetrain traction control and ABS. The GT-R is also very fast, stylish and not easy to outdo.

Audi R8 plus Quattro Coupe

Audi is a quality brand and one that is associated with sports cars more so than Nissan, the newest R8 plus Quattro Coupe has the specs you would expect. Standard features include a seven speed auto shift manual transmission with overdrive, a 5.2 liter 610 horsepower engine, an integrated navigation system, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, sideguard curtain first row overhead airbag, side seat mounted airbags, front row knee airbags and airbag occupancy sensors, nineteen-inch forged aluminum wheels, automatic air conditioning, driveline traction control and cruise control. The long list of features and amenities makes for a strong and fast car that is fun to drive and performs at a high level. The car also looks a heck of a lot like a race car.

Acura NSX Base

The Acura brand is associated with high performance, the NSX Base is no exception. Standard of the 2017 model are a nine-speed auto-shift manual transmission, a 3.5 liter 573 horsepower hybrid gas twin turbo engine, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, sideguard curtain first row overhead airbag, side seat mounted airbags, front row knee airbags and airbag occupancy sensors, nineteen-inch forged aluminum wheels, drivetrain traction control, cruise control and all-wheel drive. This powerful and fast car is stylish as well and enough to make sports car buyers think hard before buying.

Mazda MX-5 Miata

Mazda Miatas have long been a favorite of many and for good reason. Standard of the 2017 are features which include a six-speed manual transmission, 2.0 liter 155 horsepower engine, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, sideguard curtain first row overhead airbag, side seat mounted airbags, front row knee airbags and airbag occupancy sensors, an integrated navigation system, seventeen-inch aluminum wheels, drivetrain traction control and cruise control. The Miata’s engine is not as powerful as some of the cars on this list and sports cars in general but its small size allows it to zip through traffic and the wind at very fast speeds. In terms of style, the Miata is a beauty, this convertible is rather tiny but looks and feels mighty good cruising down the freeway.

Alfa Romeo 4C

The 2017 Alfa Romero 4c base is one of the elite sports cars with a high price tag but it truly is expertly designed and loaded with top notch features that make it worth the money. Standard amenities and features include a six speed auto shift manual transmission with overdrive, a 1.7 liter 237 horsepower intercooled turbo engine, four wheel antilock brakes, sideguard curtain first row overhead airbag, side seat mounted airbags, front row knee airbags and airbag occupancy sensors, seventeen-inch aluminum wheels, air conditioning, electronic stability, drivetrain traction control and power mirrors. The 4C’s design engineering and specs makes it an optimum performance vehicle more than fun to drive while also exuding style.
